ONCE A DECADE(Story of the Invisible Train)
                                                                By Abdul King Article
It was the 5th of June, the birthday of Aryan Chandran whose recently back from London. He is now qualified as archaeologist after spending the long sessions in research and study. It was his happiest day not because of his birthday but for the honour he clutched which certified him a groovy archaeology.
” It was an honour to meet you grandson.” Shouted Bhagya.
” It was an honour to meet you granny.” Aryan said approaching, he embraced her and kissed her on her forehead.
” You came late.”
” Yea I know,”
” Okay what do you have for me?”
” And what do you need old one?”
” You freak.”She punched him.
” Okay old one, let’s stop the joke. He told me tonight you have something for me, something of great important but I can’t tell what!” Aryan said with smile.
” You joker boy come let’s have dinner.” She grabbed his hand and took him to dinning room.
” What is it you want to tell me?” Granny asked pouring some drinks in cup.
” My father, I spoke with him last night concerning my wedding but he said the railway was too dangerous to follow!”
” Is that the only thing he said?”
” Yes granny.” Aryan respond.
” Oh is he stopping you from moving to West Bengal?” She asked again.
” To be sincere I don’t know exactly what he meant.” Aryan respond. ” But did you figure out anything about it?”
” Yes I do,” Granny respond taking her cup aside, ” Your father was a good man, he was so obedient while he was young, but immediately he came of age his life started to change.”
” And what do you think was responsible for causing such alteration to your son?”
” Relagadhi!” Granny respond.
” Relagadhi!” Aryan spoke in astonishment.
” You might think it’s meaningless, but sooner you will know what I meant.” Granny stood up, ” Happy Birthday Aryan,” She kissed him and took her leave. Aryan remained calm for a long time thinking about what he was told by granny. His father was obedient and he do know about it, his father was a man that take things with great consideration and he is sure about this. His father was also a man that guarantee help and peace to his people, what he can’t believe was, to say his father’s persona was changed by some kind thing like that, some kind thing like relagadhi. His thinking mood paused after he heard few steps behind him, he rose up in fear looking at the horde that surrounded him, All of them in mask keeping their short guns ready.
” How did you come here?” none answered, all stood looking at him. ” Okay if it was money you will have them just don’t touch my granny.”
” Nice thought.” one of them said in husky voice, Aryan peeps the guy intently about three times, it seemed to him that he once heard a man with this voice but can’t recognized him now.
” Alright wait for me now I will get them for you.” Aryan said trying to have his escape.
” We are not here for money.” Said the husky voice.
” Then what are you here for?”
” We are here for you.” The man said approaching forward, ” If I say you I mean you alone.”
” Okay I got you so what do you want from me?”
” Only your clothes.”
” What?”
” I said your clothes.”
” I didn’t get you dude.
” You heard me, don’t allow me to repeat it.” Aryan shut for a while, afterward he continues.
” Okay, let me get in my room I will have them remove now.”
” You are not going anywhere.”
” You mean I should remove my clothes here in the the presence of your boys?”
” They are not only boys but bunch of boys and girls.”
” And what would you do after I had my clothes removed?
” Show your pictures and videos to whole public!”
” But for what?”
” Just for fun and amusement.” Aryan remained silence watching the horde whose trying to record him on their phone camera and still keeping their short guns ready. He was giving a grace of three minutes to take them off, within he did as he was told and remained with pant and vest.
” Kneel down.” Said the husky voice. Aryan knelt down shamefully in fear. ” Sing for us.”
” I am sorry dude actually I don’t know how to sing.”
” I said sing.” The husky voice shouted activating his gun. There was a minutes silent between them, at last one girl spoke up.
” Leave him, he will sing for us when we are done, now let’s make him a frog.”
” Yea, hehe.” They horde chorus hilariously. Aryan was asked to punish himself by himself, they coerced him to participate in frog like jumping, Then they started the recording laughing giggly. There after they continue to ordained him on laughable little punishment till they felt satisfied.
” Here we are at last.” The husky voice broke the fond. ” One last thing you should do and we are done, sing for us.” Aryan kept shut with no word, he never sing a song so how could he do it now? He started thinking how he would compose a song by himself but the idea is no where to be found.
” Okay frog, let me help you. I will sing and you have to follow me no matter what I said.” Said one girl. ” Twinkle twinkle little star.” The girl sang in sweet voice.
” TWINKLE TWINKLE LITTLE STAR.” Aryan said in thunder voice. The horde laughed looking at him and still recording. The girl continue while Aryan following her till they reach the final verse.
” Good good good, now let’s have a dance. But whose first?”
” I,” Said the girl. She came closer to Aryan whose still in fear. The husky voice switch on disco, the girl grabbed his hand and together they started the dance. The disco was switch off after ten minutes.
” Here was a letter, and I will like you to read it loudly so we can all hear.” Aryan was giving a letter and within he started reading it as follows:
” I know I am idiot, first class asshole, a pain in the ass sometimes…” Aryan paused while the horde started laughing giggly. ” But mind you, all these mentioned were pieces of shit and I know I deserved it, I know I do even though Ramya will not like it.” Aryan paused looking at them nervously on how they know the name of his girl friend.” Let me tell you a little about me, I was born in this very city of Haryana, my father loved me and so my Mum, I was blessed with an angel, Ramya. She sacrificed her life to me and this made me what I was, and with this I will like to say a very Happy Birthday to me Aryan Chandran.” The horde gave him an applause taking off their mask, that was when he perceived the plan, it was his friends, family and neighbours that just made him an ass, they formed a horde in mask pretending to be terrorist just to wish him a very Happy Birthday. There was mirthful quarrel between them before the party started.
” How dare you made me an ass!” Aryan screamed in shame.
” Hahhhhahha,” The horde laughed giggly.
” I will soon upload the videos in media,” The husky voice said pouring his drink in cup.
” Hello Mr. Frog.” Two girls chorus approaching.
” Hi donkeys.” Aryan respond putting on his clothes.
” What? Did he just called us donkeys?” Asked one.
” Yes he did.” The other respond. The party was delightfully beautiful, drums were played, piano was played. So many musical instruments were played, singers and dancers were invited to show their skills, Aryan felt please with regard to this great wonderful celebration. After the party is over, they prayed for him and took their leave.
” I am so much happy granny.” Aryan said sitting next to her.
” So as I.” She respond.
” Okay granny, so what do you figure out about my father’s advice?”
” Your father! Are you certain that you saw him last night?”
” Yes granny I did.”
” But do you know what, I am sorry to say but your father passed away a decade ago.” Granny walked back to her room leaving Aryan in the world of wonders, his father passed away and yet he was not told by anyone, not even his best friend, the husky voice Faris who shall have know about it. He took himself to bedroom thinking what his father told him last night. He started recalling the scene. It was the 4th of June, after having much fond with his friends he decided to return to his home, the moment he stepped his foot in he sighted his father far away on a chair, it surprised him because his father don’t sit next to hallway, and it was his habit whenever he sat then he must be carrying a magazine with him but today he’s carrying nothing, he only sank facing the dinning room, Aryan greeted him with respect then taking his seat.
” I am glad to see you Aryan.” Said Mr. Chandran, Aryan’s father.
” I am glad to see you Dad.” Aryan respond.
” It was taking long time since you left India while you were five, but now you are back. You have now turned a man.”
” Yes Dad, I have started making some preparation on my wedding so I don’t know if you have something to tell me.”
” Okay.” Mr Chandran said in whispered. ” What did you said was her name?”
” Ramya!” Aryan respond.
” In West Bengal?” Mr. Chandran asked.
” How did you know about that?” Aryan asked in astonishment, Mr.Chandran smile with no word.
” And you want to meet her in the 15th of June?”
” Yes Dad.”
” There in West Bengal?”
” Yes Dad.”
” Okay.” Mr.Chandran said in whispered. ” You ever heard something about relagadhi?”
” Relagadhi?” Aryan whispered.
” Yes relagadhi, it come once always in the 15th of June.”Said Mr. Chandran.
” Every year?” Aryan asked.
” Just know that the path you want to follow was too dangerous.” Mr. Chandran shouted.
” Dad are you insisting that I should not go to West Bengal?” Aryan asked while looking at the other side, he waited about a minute but there was no respond, he looked forward but his father was not on the chair. He rosed up in fear looking all angles but still he’s no where to be found. ” Guess he went away.” Aryan whispered while heading to his room, unexpectedly he heard his father’s voice in whispered.
” You might think it’s meaningless, but sooner you will know what I meant.” Aryan turned back but see no one.
” Hi, I brought a coffee for you.” Aryan paused the thinking mood after granny broke into the room. ” What are you thinking?” She asked. Aryan looked at her for a while before he started.
” I want to know how my father died?” Aryan asked.
” Your father passed away a decade ago!” Granny respond.
” But I saw him last night.” Aryan shouted. Granny dropped the cup aside taking her eyes in contact to his.
” He told you something about relagadhi?” Granny asked.
” Yes he did, and I need to know what is so special about that relagadhi!”
” There is nothing you can do about it,” Granny screamed. ” This was how your mother lost her life in attempt to find that relagadhi, and this was how your father lost his in attempt to find his wife, and you will also lose yours if you continue to investigate on that relagadhi.”
” What are you saying granny?”
” Just know that the path you want to follow was too dangerous.” Granny concluded taking her leave. In the morning, Aryan got himself prepared, directly he went out, he signalled a cab driver to stop. He got inside the cab and sat down. Within fifteen minutes they arrived. The driver was paid then taken his leave. Aryan walked steadily to the nearby building, he took himself in and that led him to sitting room.
” What an unexpected visit Mr. Aryan.” Said Banjeet who was a priest and also a paranormal expert. Aryan sat next to him with relief. ” When did you come back to England?”
” Long ago.” Aryan respond.
” And Ramya! Don’t tell me you come here for her.”
” This is not about Ramya!”
” Then it’s about what?”
” It’s about relagadhi.” Aryan respond in hum voice.
” Relagadhi!” Said Banjeet in wonder.
” Granny once told me about it although her saying was not clearly understandable, and also my father….”
” -Your father died a decade ago.” Banjeet interrupted.
” But I saw him a day before my birthday and…..”
” -Aryan you have to believed me,” Banjeet interrupted again. ” I am the one that led his funeral and you know me as a big friend of yours, I will never lie to you.”
” But this is bullshit, are you saying that I am now under spell or what?”
” I am not saying that, all I am saying was that you are under the circumstances of hallucinating ” The priest respond.” And you know this is normal, to see a figure or outline of demise person especially when he has something special for you. It might be in outside world or inside world.”
” Which world is outside and which inside?” Aryan asked.
” The outside world is the world of your dreams, and the inside world is the world of reality we stood upon me and you. It was known that when a body is at temporary rest.”
” Temporary rest?” Aryan asked.
” Yes that is slumber, a soul of that body is believed to have taken itself out of this world of reality and that will make the body at constant rest that is dead, sleep person was a dead person huh! Each and every soul require a defensive weapons for its survival, that was why the moving soul will move out to search for its defensive weapons, those defensive weapons are inform of images, those images only predicts the future, past and sometimes presence. When ever you had a dream, it’s your soul that found one image from its defensive weapons, in an attempt to investigate that image, that is when you will be having a dream and that dream was your image, your defensive weapon. Do not ignore your dream no matter what it says because some predict future, but some are just nonsense but just don’t ignore it even though it was nonsense.”
” But what those this have to do with relagadhi?” Aryan asked.
” This has to do with you, if I say you I mean you alone, seeing your father here in this world was absolutely complicated, I never experience such case in my lifetime, although some images are found inside but it’s rare.”
” Are you insisting that my father has something special to tell me?” Aryan asked.
” I think so.” Banjeet respond.
” Then what it was?”
” That is what we need to find!”
” But he told me something about relagadhi, would not that be a special thing for me?” Aryan asked.
” Yea it might!”
” How?” Aryan asked again.
” Relagadhi is a Hindi word which means train. This train is different from those you see or heard, this train was invisible, usually come once a decade, in the 15t of June, and who ever was lucky to see it will definitely disappear under abnormal circumstances, no one knows where this train was coming from and no one knows where it’s going to. But truly it exist here in the world we stood upon.”
” Those disappeared, where are they going?”
” No body knows, some said they were ate by train, some said they were kidnapped, just there is no reliable answer to this. All what people are saying was rumours.”
” How did you know this story?”
” It was written in a book,” Banjeet stood up and went to his library. Two minutes later he came back with a small book and handed it over to Aryan. ” Some scholars believed that the writer of this book was not human, some said was human but unknown as no body knows him, it was found on 15th of June, by our great great great grand father hundred years ago, he found it in railway in a very dark night just after the disappearance of his daughter. He came out looking for her, calling her name, suddenly he sighted a book lying on the railway, he picked it up and took it to one expert. The expert examined the book but found nothing special because the book was written in Latin but mixed with Arabic. From there I learned that this book was illustrating precautions necessary to avoid the perils of this train but I can’t prove it as I am not that good in Arabic, from my little knowledge I am certain that the first page was quited from the Qur’an, let me read it for you. Banjeet collected the book and started as follows:
|1|In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.
|2|All the praises and thanks be to Allah, the Lord of the ‘Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists).
|3|The Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.
|4|The Only Owner (and the Only Ruling Judge) of the Day of Recompense (i.e. the Day of Resurrection)
|5|You (Alone) we worship, and you (Alone) we ask for help (for each and everything).
|6|Guide us to the Straight Way
|7|The Way of those on whom You have bestowed Your Grace, not (the way) of those who earned Your Anger, nor of those who went astray.
” And what about the others?” Aryan asked.
” They can only be read by Arab man, but it says who ever recite the first and the last chapter of Qur’an will be free from any harm and be giving what ever he requested.”
” Did they write them there?”
” They only wrote the first chapter, that is the one I read for you.”
” And how do we find the last chapter?”
” I don’t know, maybe if you know any Islamic Member!”
” But how many chapters do Qur’an have?”
” One hundred and fourteen.” Said Banjeet.
” But this was complicated, okay can I ask a question.”
” Yea man.”
” Between Islamic and Christianity, which of them was the true religion?” Banjeet shut for a while looking at him.
” You will not believed me no matter what I say, but if you can stay with me I can prove it tonight.”
” Alright I got you.” Aryan said. They continue the chat with fond till clock struck 9:00PM, Banjeet drove them to beach, he parked the car and come out, Aryan followed him in wonder. Banjeet knelt down drawing some unidentified signs, immediately he was done he started incantation. There was a horrible rose in the water trembling to and fro. Within he stop looking at Aryan.
” Did you believed that God was a God?” He asked.
” I do.” Aryan respond.
” Did you believed that Virgin Mary was a God?”
” I do.”
” Did you believed that Jesus was a God?”
” I do.”
” Will you remain loyal to Christianity no matter what you see?”
” I will remain loyal to true religion if necessary.”
” Good.” Banjeet said looking at the sea, ” Now look at the sea and tell me what you see.” Aryan kept his eyes intently looking all over but see no one, he looked again but saw nothing.
” There was nothing there.” Aryan respond.
” There must be something, looked again.” Aryan looked again deeply far away, there he sighted an outline of two women. He moved back in fear.
” Did you summoned them? Who are they?”
” Yes I do, I summoned them, they are Gaana and Jaana, the two sisters of the water spirits, they are going to lead you outside world so you can see what you are looking for. Do not fear them as they will not harm, you are going to have a temporary rest at the edge of the sea, I want you to focus your attention and record what ever you see. I am coming to wake you when the clock strike 3:00 AM.”
” I got you.” Said Aryan.
” Good, and I want you to perform ablution now.” Banjeet requested.
” But don’t forget I am Christian!” Aryan shouted.
” You have to know that there are some situation in which only true God can help you.”
” What do you mean true God, Jesus and Virgin Mary are they not true gods?” Aryan asked.
” It didn’t matter, what matter now is for you to turn yourself a temporary Muslim, if we are done with this project then you can go back to where you belong to. I want you to insert this in your heart that ALLAH was the true God and the only One that can help you in this arduous situation.”
” Are you sure this is a good idea?”
” It will be the only way that can help us.”
” Me alone at the edge of the sea?”
” Don’t forget you believed in Allah, and He will be there to protect you when ever you asked for help.” Aryan was influenced to performed ablution and lay at the edge of the sea, Banjeet moved back to his car mildly leaving Aryan dreadfully. The outline are still there, and to him it seemed they are adding some steps near him. When ever he looked at them he will saw them approaching and his heart beating will increased excessively. The wind was blowing, the sounds of this wind contained profound fragments of horrible feeling. The outline’s motion are making his eyes to blink constantly as if something terrible was about to happened. The sound of Banjeet’s car was what made him confirmed that he took his leave, Aryan turned back in feared looking at the figure of the car far away, within the figure vanished and left nothing apart from the sounds of the wind and the motility of the water. He tried to have some sleep but his eyes are drained, the cold of this dark night was extremely frightening, although he was not to much friendly to dark nor water but yet he remained there trying to have resistivity toward what he was seeing. The place was quiet, the sounds of birds that seemed to relief him from this affright mood had now stop. Even the sound of the blowing wind was no more at presence, suddenly he straightened his eyes toward the direction of these outlines but surprisingly they were not there. A dizzy expression started to strike him painfully, his eyes turned heavy and so his head, the pain began to spread rapidly till it covered all his body. The sudden thought upon his mind was that his end has approached, abruptly he started smiling, the blinking of his eyes continues, the sounds of birds come back again, together with murmuring far away, he can’t recognized the voice but he was certain it must be his Mum, there he saw her together with his father, they are talking to him but he can’t hear what they are saying. She was smiling at him nodding her head. And again she was smiling at him with gesture. Aryan screamed trying to warn them but seemingly they are not hearing, not only them but him too, he screamed again but his voice was not coming out. He wept in sorrow looking at them, and also looking at the two outlines behind them, from this moment he felt unconsciously.
” No no no no. Wake up wake up please wake up.” Aryan was hearing this, he wanted to wake up but afraid of what he might see, it could be the outlines, again he heard it. He coerced himself trying to make himself awaken but fail to. He wanted to talk but there was no way to. He can still feel how his body was moved out of the sea. Again the voice talk to him but he didn’t answer. After ten minutes Aryan started coughing, his eyes opened gradually looking at Banjeet.
” Shit, what happened?”
” You are welcome bro.” Said Banjeet.
” Let’s go back home bro.”
” There is no going home now.”
” What?” Aryan shouted.
” Look at the sea and tell me what you see.” Aryan took his attention back to the sea, quickly he turned to Banjeet in wonder.
” The outline, they are still there!” He said.
” This is the reason why we should not go anywhere because the outline will follow us, and the effect will be on you only, you will continue hallucinating to the rest of your life and later you will die just like your father.” Said Banjeet.
” But you you have to know that anything can happen here!” Aryan shouted.
” You also have to know that anything can happen there.” Banjeet shouted.
” Okay what do we do now?” Aryan asked.
” All we need to do is to remain here till the morning comes then we can take our leave, now tell me what you see?”
” Before that I want to know more about Gaana and Jaana?” Aryan requested.
” I have already told you what you need to know, they are the two sisters of the water spirits, Gaana the Muslim and Jaana the Christian,” Banjeet kept shut like in mood of regret. ” But you don’t have to know this.” He whispered. ” But why did you ask me this question?”
” So that I can detect your lies!” Aryan respond.
” You didn’t trust me?”
” Why should I?”
” Okay tell me what you see!” Banjeet requested.
” I saw them in my dream, Gaana and Jaana, like they are hunting something, I think it was my parent. Both talking to me but can’t hear what they are saying. And I saw the two sisters fighting each other violently, Jaana was defeated and burnt to ashes.”
” What about your parent?”
” I don’t know about them, guess they vanished.”
” And what about Gaana? Did she say anything to you?”
” She only looked at me,”
” And then what?” Banjeet requested
” And then… She showed me the last chapter of Qur’ an….”
” And what again?”
” And a train! But what those this have to do with what I asked for?”
” This has to do with the story of invisible train,Jaana as the hunter of the train and Gaana as the savior of the train.”
” What about about Jaana? Why is she doing that?” Aryan asked.
” And why are you eating food everyday?” Banjeet asked.
” Because I am hungry!” Aryan respond.
” The same thing to Jaana, she was also hungry that is why she hunt human once a decade.” Banjeet respond.
” What I asked for! Is there any prove?”
” What you asked for has already proved itself, Gaana showed you the power of been a Muslim, who ever held Qur’an and believed in Allah, that person will never fall to the rest of his life, and who ever try to challenge the servant of Allah, that person will burn to ashes like Jaana did.”
” So this mean that?” Aryan requested.
” This mean that the true religion was Islam.” Banjeet concluded.
” You know about this yet you remained a priest?” Aryan asked.
” Some truth need to be hidden, our grandfathers has spent their life time serving Jesus so why should we not?”
” How many of you are out there?” Aryan asked.
” What do you mean?”
” I mean how many idiots like you are out there knowing that the true religion was Islam but yet influencing people to worship false gods!”
” I am sorry Aryan, don’t forget you promised to remain loyal to Christianity no matter what you see ”
” No I promised to remain loyal to true religion if necessary and that was what I did.” Aryan screamed. Banjeet tried the best he can to make Aryan believe but there was no way. They continue the quarrel till the morning comes, Aryan do not follow him, he goes home in cab. He lay on bed in sorrow thinking about the years he spent for nothing worshiping a bunch of nonsense, his girl friend Ramya was Muslim, so he decided to call her to see if she can help him out. He carried his phone dialling her number, luckily he succeeded but the voice don’t sound like Ramya.
” Hi Ramya!”
” Hi Aryan, this is not Ramya, it was her sister Chahna.”
” And what about her?”
” She’s having a serious problem now but you can meet her at Nagaland, I will send you the address now.” She hung off, two minutes later his phone rang. He checked it up seeing the address, he started preparation, after he was done he went to borrowed his friend’s car Faris who was also going there for fond. Aryan sat next to him while faris drove them away. The lazy driver reached Nagaland after they spent three days on the road, they used the address and got the actual location they are looking for. It was a large building people all over, it seemed a great celebration was taking place, they sat on chairs looking all over without perception of what was happening, abruptly Chahna came to them.
” Hi Aryan you are welcome,”She said.
” Can I speak with her?”
” Yea but she’s together with her husband.”
” What?’ Aryan and Faris chorus.
” I am sorry Aryan, maybe you should not have come.” Aryan kept shut with no word, unexpectedly he saw Ramya far away together with one man, quickly he went to her.
” Oh, Aryan.” She said with smile. ” I am glad you are here this is Mr…”
” -Your husband!” Aryan interrupted.
” Aryan it’s not like that…”
” Then it’s what?” He shouted.” You.” He poked her. ” I only wish to say happy marriage life and thanks for everything.” He started walking trying to move out while Ramya followed him.
” Aryan you have to believe me, he was not my husband because the wedding was not yet arranged, this was only a celebration for…”
” For fuck.” Aryan turned back looking at her. ” Stop following me you bitch.” Aryan moved out together with Faris.
” I can’t believe she betrayed you.” Said faris.
” That’s life.” Aryan respond. ” Give me the key.”
” What? Don’t tell me we are moving to Haryana now.”
” Just give me the key.” Faris handed the key to him although he don’t like the journey but no choice he had, Aryan drove them away in speed, they reached their destination in two days. Aryan lay on his bed to have some sleep, he woke up at the evening hours by unrecognized voice, he opened his eyes firmly seeing his Mum stood upon the door, He scratched his eyes to confirmed if he was having dream but truly it wasn’t, he dismounted on the bed walking gradually toward the door, pleasantly he embraced her smelling her long hair,
” Aryan.” She said softly.
” Mum, you are supposed to be dead.”
” Aryan look at me,” She said touching his face. ” I want you to listen to me very carefully.”
” Okay.” Aryan respond.
” For more than hundred years no body ever survived it.”
” What?” Aryan asked.
” The path you want to follow.”
” Mum I don’t understand what you are talking about!”
” Just know that the path you want to follow was too dangerous.” She shouted. ” Okay I am sorry son.” She embraced him tightly. ” I want you….” She started moving back as if some force pulling her.
” Mum speak it what is it you want to say!”
” I want you to….” Still pulling back by unseen force. ” I want you to stay out of that train.” She managed to spoke at last before the force pulled her out completely. Dreadfully he woke up, oh no he just had a dream. He looked at the door again seeing Ramya stood upon,
” I am sorry Aryan!”
” What are you doing here?”
” Aryan look at me.”
” I say what are you doing here?”
” Ramya!” She turned back looking at Faris. ” Please excuse us now.” Ramya took her leave in agony, Chahna and Abeer stood up looking at her, Abeer was the Ramya’s lover seeking for her hand in marriage.
” Where are you going?” Chahna asked.
” To priest!”
” You mean Banjeet?” Ramya nodded her head as yes. After the dinner, Aryan moved out to garden to have fond. He opened his laptop listening some music then suddenly Ramya came to him,
” Hi Aryan.” She sat next to him. ” I am sorry about…”
” Please can you leave me alone.” He carried his laptop trying to move in but before he get to that she quickly grabbed his hand.
” The relagadhi don’t you wanna find it? I can help you.” Aryan turned back looking at her in wonder.
” How did you know that?” She smiled looking at him.
” Now you have to learn the first and the last chapter of Qur’ an.”
” And how do we do that?”
” Just follow me!”
” And what about me?” Faris Shouted approaching.
” You can also follow me.” She respond.

” ا is prononce as alif, ب is pronounced as baa, ت is pronounced as taa, ث is pronounced as saa, ج is pronounced as jaa.” Ramya continue teaching them Arabic Alphabets day after day till they become perfect. Then she started teaching them some verses in Qur’ an. Tomorrow is the 14th of June and the day they are going to risk their life for this wonderful odyssey.

” You have to believed in Allah, and you have to believed that He alone can protect you from all evils.” Ramya said looking at them. Unexpectedly Banjeet came to them.
” I am with you guys.” He said.
” And aye.” Said Abeer.
” Alright guys now let’s move to West Bengal.” Said Aryan, they are going in Ramya’s car, so he collected the key from her and drove them away without knowing that granny has heard all what they said. Some can spent one day six hours and thirty minutes before reaching Bengal’s site. But Aryan the mad driver do not allow it to happened. He rode excessively in speed, a ride he has never done in his whole life. Within they started seeing the figure of hills which means they have now approached. Banjeet redirect him and showed him the way to follow, just ten minutes ride they stopped the car and come out.
” Some inhabitants around here said that they often hear the horn of a train when clock struck 12:00 at night.” Said Banjeet. ” But when ever they come looking for it they will see nothing.” He took some few steps near an old railway line. ” This is our target, we will watch this railway till the clock struck 12:00.”
” But don’t forget who ever saw this train will disappear under abnormal circumstances, so how do we prevent ourselves from such evil?” Faris asked eagerly
” I have got some protection for you.” Ramya said opening her bag bringing Qur’ an.”I want you to perform ablution now all of you.”
” How do we do it?” Faris asked.
” Look at me and do what ever I do.” She said grabbing a bottle of water, they all do the same till they finished the ablution. ” And I want you to repeat after me, I now believed that there is no God except Allah.” They said in chorus, ” and Muhammad peace be upon him was the Messenger of Allah. Congratulation to all of you, you are now Muslims, I mean temporary Muslims, you can decide to quit if we are done with this project but don’t forget to insert this in your heart that Allah alone can protect you from all evils.” She gave each one of them Qur’an but Banjeet refused to collect it.” Why?” She asked him.
” I already have the first and the last chapter of Qur’an in this book.” He said bringing the book he once showed to Aryan after he told him the story of invisible train.
” But you said the last chapter of Qur’an does not exist in this book.” Aryan said looking at him.
” That was precisely because I didn’t go through it.” Banjeet respond shamefully.
” Banjeet.”
” Yes!”
” You are a liar.”
” I am sorry Aryan.” The sudden sound of car focused their attention to looked behind them, there they saw a cab approaching. A woman came out walking mildly with her head downward. Aryan looked intently before he concluded that it was his grand Ma.
” Granny.” He whispered.
” Granny.” They all chorus surprisingly looking at her.
” What are you doing here old one?”
” I only came to say good bye to my grand son.” She said touching his face and also looking at him as if she never see him before.
” Granny I am not going to die!”
” This was what your mother said.”
” What about my father! Did he said that.” Granny nodded her head as yes.
” You once asked me how your father died, don’t you wanna know how?”
” Yes granny spill it out!”
” Your father was betrayed by a priest!” She said looking at Banjeet.
” What?”
” I am sorry Aryan I just….” Banjeet said in disgraced.
” You son of the bitch I am going to kill you, I am going to kill you now.” Aryan shouted trying to attack Banjeet but Faris and Abeer never allow him to. After they were sort out he came to granny again. ” What about my mother, did he betrayed her too?” Granny nodded her head as yes. ” The story he told me about Gaana and Jaana! What can you say about it!”
” There is nothing to add there, all what he said was correct, but.. Just know that if Jaana is dead so her train will die.” Granny respond.
” What about Gaana, if she die, is Qur’an…..”
” No, nothing can touch Qur’an, Qur’an was protected by Allah Himself, even if Gaana is dead Qur’an will still live forever.”
” He told me that he led my father’s funeral was that right?”
” No, your father’s body was never found, he was lost in the train in attempt to rescue his wife Adhira who was held by Jaana, that was where he met his end.”
” My mum, why does she want to find the train?”
” She was archaeologist, finding the train will add honour to her status although her goal was not just to find the train but to end the treachery of Jaana.”
” The book that he showed me!” Is there anything you can say about it?”
” I am certain about what he said, that the finder of the book was his great grand father Aarav, he found it around this places hundred years ago. And his family continue to keep the book generation by generation until when it was missing, no body knows how it was stole but reasonings predicts that the book was taken by its real writer Gaana, and she did it because there was no loyalty in the family of Aarav.”
” So this was the reason why Banjeet has no loyalty, he must have inherited it.” Said Aryan.
” Your mother often come here to make a research every Summer, then one summer she started to hear some rumours about the invisible train, this made her to performed some research, year after year but found nothing then suddenly she found a strange book, she named it relagadhi meaning train, the book described all what she was looking for about the invisible train. But it was written in Latin mixed with Arabic, she was not good in that so she took the book to her trusted priest Banjeet, but the idiot betrayed her.” Granny said shedding tears. Aryan embraced her till he chilled her out. ” he didn’t give her the last chapter of Qur’an nor telling her to believed in Allah as He alone can help her.”
” Why did he do that?”
” he wanted the book to remain in his family forever.” Granny respond.
” And what happened?”
” Your mother wanted to help the village people so she decided to face Jaana, and that was where she met her end, she was lost in the train and her body was never found.”
” Gaana, why did she write the book?”
” She wanted to save humanity from the treachery of her naughty sister Jaana.”
” Why can’t she kill her herself?”
” Because her powers are too weak against Jaana, but with the help of Allah everything can be possible.”
Aryan took few steps closer to Banjeet. ” How did you betrayed my father?”
” I only gave him the first chapter of Qur’an,”
” What about the last?”
” I hid it!” Banjeet whispered.
” My mother, did you do the same to her?” Banjeet nodded his head as yes.
” You son of the bitch.” Aryan blew him, Ramya ran and grabbed his hand, she pulled him far away trying to chill him.
” I can’t believe my parent were betrayed by the person they trust most.”
” That’s life, but it seemed like he regret what he did!”
” He didn’t.” Aryan respond, ” He also gave me the first chapter of Qur’an!”
” What about the last?”
” He hid it, he say it don’t exist in the book.”
” Okay what do you think killed your parent?”
” Him, he gave them the first chapter of Qur’an and hid the last, he didn’t warn them that Jaana can only be defeated by recitation of the first and the last chapter of Qur’an, he didn’t warn them to become Muslim, and he didn’t warn them to believed in Allah as He alone can help them. How would they not be killed?”
” I am sorry Aryan!” Ramya said in hum voice. ” When last did you see them?”
” Since I was five, that was before I was taken to England, I was just a kid in that time but still I can see their images in my eyes.” Aryan said shedding tears.
” Make her pay for what she did.” Said Ramya.
” Yes she would.”He respond cleaning his eyes with handkerchief. They remained there for a longer time, suddenly they started to hear the horn of a train far away. They stood up in fear looking at the direction the sound was coming from but see nothing.
” Relagadhi.” They chorus. Granny stood up and ran back to the cab, the driver started the car and drove in speed leaving the place.
” Now listen to me, you have to believed in Allah as He alone can help you, and you have to recite the first and the last chapter of Qur’an and seek help from Allah. Pray so that you can see the invisible train. He alone can show it to you and He alone can protect you from all evils.” Ramya said in warning. There they knelt down reciting the The Holy Qur’an praying to The Almighty Allah. The sound continue approaching but still seeing nothing. each and every second their heart beating was increasing and so their fear, but with all these they do not allow their fate to reduce a little bit. Banjeet looking at them in an unidentified mood murmuring some words, the sound approached at last and immediately their eyes started blinking constantly, their body was heavy stained with pain and covered with dizzy expression. They can see the outline of something, something that looked like a train next to them, they can see the outline of something like opening in the train, it was dark inside and nothing to see visibly. They are now weak but still reciting the Holy Qur’an, they can now feel how they were pulled forward by some unseen force, moving them violently toward the opening, unconsciously they fell down without any perception. There was terrible humming in the air but the sound convey no particular meaning, awfully they were awaken, still the remaining part of dizziness is with them. They stood up in pain looking all over but see nothing apart from the blackness of the dark, the humming continues and this rose a dreadfully mood in all of them, while reciting the Holy Qur’an they started moving here and there without knowing the exact place they were in. Banjeet whose busy reciting some verses in bible decided not to follow them, the sudden steps he heard behind him made him to changed his mind and so he goes with them, to him the steps sounds like woman foot but he can tell exactly. Abruptly they stood in fear looking the front side, it was a shadowy thing like structure moving to and fro, the unseen force started pulling them toward the thing, together they screamed reciting the Holy Qur’an. Unexpectedly they saw another shadowy thing coming behind them, at this moment most of them has began to faint only Aryan dare to remain consciously. Banjeet was pulled violently toward the thing and there he vanished, Aryan can still hear his screaming in darkness. Although he was to blame himself because he didn’t believed in Allah, the two shadowy thing like structure that resembled women looked each other for a while before they began a terrible battle. Aryan looked at them in fear while crawling backward. He now knows that it was the two sisters of the water spirits that are fighting each other violently, and the shadowy thing that came behind them Must be Gaana, she came to save them from the treachery of her terrible sister Jaana. The battle continues while Aryan started to awaken his friends. Dreadfully he paused looking at the battle, it was the screech of Jaana that called his attention, she started burning crumbling to fragments, at last she burst out and vanished. The shadowy thing he thought to be Gaana stood there looking at him while holding The Holy Qur’an, later on she vanished into the atmosphere. Aryan fell down unconsciously, hour after hour with no perception then suddenly he woke up, the morning has approached but it’s still dark, granny talking to him together with her driver. Behind them stood Chahna and Amara, Faris’ girl friend.
” Where is Banjeet?” Granny asked.
” Banjeet!” He respond.” He just reaped what he sow.” Aryan said looking at Faris and Abeer who lay next to him, and Ramya on his chest having some sleep. He stood up looking at the field recalling the night’s scene, it seemed like something strange had happened there, the railway line has been scattered to fragments. And the place was quiet not even a sound from the birds.
” Allah was Great!” Aryan shouted.
” Indeed Great!” Said Ramya, that was when he found that his friends has woke up.
” Jaana was no more!” He said again.
” And so her train.” Ramya said with smile. He approached her looking at her beautiful face.
” Now what?” He asked.
” Our wedding.” She respond.
” What about Abeer?”
” I spoke with him and he agreed to marry my sister Chahna.” They drove home pleasantly, few days later they started arranging their wedding ceremony, Aryan and Ramya, Faris and Amara, Abeer and Chahna, the book of relagadhi was kept by Aryan as a history so that future generation can read the event, there they continue to live happily to the rest of their life, Allah was indeed Great for destroying Jaana completely together with her train, Allah was indeed Great for making the impossible to be possible, Allah was indeed Great for making the weakest to defeat the strongest. And so humanity continue to prosper with peace and dignity, happily ever and after.
